Parents of children on the autistic spectrum and with developmental challenges
When a child on the autism spectrum has difficulty with eating, sleeping, stomach, communication, or regulation - you can begin to understand why.
I am Netta Pelleg-Garad, a certified naturopath since 2017.
In "Advanced" - a structured six-session support process - I examine the child's physiological and nutritional picture together with you and build a personalized, graded plan. The process complements and supports the developmental treatments that already exist.
A short conversation, without obligation - we'll understand if and how we can help.

What do you see at home?
Not every difficulty “comes with a diagnosis.” Sometimes there are physical factors behind it that are worth examining – and can be supported.

Regulation
Outbursts, anxiety, sensory sensitivity

Recurring discomfort
Colds, rashes,
Unresolved physical complaints

stomach
Constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or bloating that recurs repeatedly

Restlessness and attention
Difficulty concentrating, constant movement, difficulty focusing on learning

Nutrition
Very little food on the plate, fights around the table, pickiness that only gets worse

Sleep
Difficulty falling asleep, waking up at night,
Tired mornings
Look at the body,
To support development
A child who has a stomachache, sleeps little or eats only five foods - is less available for development and learning, for connection and regulation. My approach, functional-naturopathic medicine, examines these physical factors: digestion, nutrition, sleep, stress, and builds tailored support. It complements the occupational therapy, speech therapist and medical care that already exist, and does not replace them.
Accompaning
Follow-up meetings, and WhatsApp support between meetings
Adjusting
Nutrition, supplements and habits - at a pace that suits the child and the family
Understanding
In-depth questioning, blood tests at the "Kupat Holim", and functional tests in specialized laboratories
"Advanced" - a personal guidance process in six meetings
A structured process that I developed from the functional medicine approach following in-depth training in accompanying children on the continuum, so that you don't have to guess what to try first. At each stage you know where we are, what we are doing right now, and why.
Six in-person meetings: the first at the clinic, and the rest on Zoom
A nutrition, supplement, and habit plan tailored to your child
Assistance in performing functional tests
WhatsApp or phone support between meetings

1. Phone call
A short introductory conversation, free of charge - we will understand the situation and decide together if it is suitable.
2. First appointment at the clinic
Impressions of the child and in-depth questioning about the medical, developmental, and nutritional history
3. Initial plan and tests
Clear instructions and explanations, a detailed written naturopathic plan, precise links to purchase nutritional supplements, a daily supplement chart to hang on the refrigerator, and guidance in performing functional tests.
4. Program adjustment
After receiving the test results, going over and analyzing the results and updating the treatment plan
5. Nutrition meeting
Following the test results, accuracy and depth in nutrition, including alternatives for each meal
6. Tracking and adjustments
Follow-up and support meetings between sessions.
If necessary, support with the intake of folinic acid (Leucovorin, Fedolen)

Questions parents ask
Q: Does this replace the treatments the child already has?
A: No. The process complements occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical care, and does not replace them.
Q: What about medications the child is taking?
A: I do not advise stopping or changing medications. Any such changes should only be made in coordination with the treating physician.
Q: From what age do you accompany?
A: From the age of two.
Q: Do I have to do tests?
A: In autism, generally yes. I only recommend tests that will add information and refine the treatment, and I accompany you in carrying them out.
Q: My child is picky and won't take supplements. What should I do?
A: This is one of the most frequently asked questions. In the "advanced" process, I teach practical ways to incorporate supplements even with picky children. Additionally, many children become less picky during the process.
Q: Do you guarantee results?
A: No. Every child is different. I am committed to a clear, precise, and transparent process, and to adapting it to your pace.
Q: Where do we meet?
A: The first meeting is at the clinic in Emek Hefer; the rest of the meetings are on Zoom or by phone.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We will talk about this in the introductory conversation, so you know exactly what is included.
